Oil Massage

Oil Massage

Over the years, I have developed my own technique for oil massage. The pressure I apply varies from light to vigorous depending on the needs and/or preferences of my clients. Although I used to do what we call “deep tissue” massage, as a result of a human dissection course I undertook in June 2015, I feel now uncomfortable applying very strong pressure as part of my treatment.

The reason for such a drastic change in my work is that during that course I discovered that in some areas of the body, our muscles are so deeply embedded and covered with so many layers of tissues that it’s impossible to reach them, even if we use extremely strong pressure.

I also think that working in harmony with the body as opposed to against it by using strong pressure to force something onto it, does not feel right anymore.

I tailor each massage to my client’s needs to provide maximum benefit.
